This telephone is from around 1890. Ten of these were specialmade for the Grand Theater in Gothenburg, Sweden. You could call between the dressingrooms and also it had an external line so you could call out via the operater. From every dressingroom! Lovely i think! When they renovated the theater most of the old stuff waf thrown away, but one of the builders saved this phone. Great idea! I found it in a corner in an antique shop. I plan to give it to my wifes father on his 60 years birthday (i hope he doesnt have flickr... =)
