Crow vs mouse

I've been wondering about this episode today, do Crows catch live mice? Aren't they carrion eaters? Maybe the mouse was already dead.. I do know one of my neighbours has been having problems with mice lately, and I've had a few in my house in the past couple months. Maybe there's just lots around.
