Common Koel (male)
It is that time of year that these birds are breeding, they are very noisy, this one was intently watching the female being harassed by a couple of Red Wattlebirds, I think they were probably planning an ambush, that's what they do, distract birds from their nest so they can lay an egg, once the egg hatches, it kicks the other eggs / babies from the nest, usual hosts are the Red Wattlebird or the Magpie Lark.
