Mustang at a Gallop

The designers have set the Mustang free on this 1968 model showing her suspended in air. The question of whether a horse had all four legs off the ground at a gallop was settled in 1878 by the photographer Eadweard Muybridge and was one of the first silent movies ever made. Called "Sallie Gardener at a Gallop" it consisted of 24 shots shown on a zoopraxiscope which lasted for 3 seconds. An interesting read if you have the time.
