"Chassis number: WVWZZZ15ZKK030365. The vendor acquired this 1781cc Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet MkI in September 2016. Since then, substantial refurbishment and work has been carried out, including replacement of steering, suspension and brake components, plus braided fuel and brakes lines and clutch. A new mohair hood and window frame have been fitted (November 2018) and the car resprayed in its original colour, with Hammerite and Waxoyl underneath (October 2017). As a result, the car is in very good condition throughout, albeit with two small patch repairs on the driver's seat. The paperwork folder includes a list of all the jobs done since 2016. The VW, registered in August 1989, is now showing 133,262 miles on its odometer, which can be largely verified the history file. The MoT is valid until October 2023.
"The hefty and well-organised history file includes invoices and details of all work carried out since the vendor's acquisition in 2016, along with other invoices back to 1999. The MoT certificates date back to 1996, and there are some old tax discs too.
