E779 JAR

1988 Range Rover EFi auto.

Anglia Car Auctions, King's Lynn -

"Chassis number: SALLHAML3EA320622. 3,528cc. One of nine cars from a private, long-term collection belonging to a retired engineer. This V8-powered Range Rover EFI Auto, registered in April 1988, features twin batteries (with 24-volt starting), as well as twin fuel tanks. The vendor tells us that, despite the Range Rover's near legendary reputation as an off-roader and tow vehicle, this one has never been off-road or had a tow-bar fitted. The odometer indicates just over 42,000 miles, which can be largely supported by the history, and the MoT is valid until September 2023. Although newly MoT's, the vehicle has been standing for some time, so some minor recommissioning may be required. Five former registered keepers are noted on the V5C. The history folder includes the V5C, most MoT certificates from 2000 to 2022, and two service books through to October 2001 at 33,940 miles. During the 1990s, the vehicle was maintained by Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist P&A Wood, including two December 1991 bills for £7652 and £3616. There are various bills, mainly from the 1990s and early 21st century. Also in the folder are various classic car newspaper articles on Range Rovers and in-car telephone installation information."

Sold for £4428 including premium (offered with no reserve).
