BPB 960H
1970 Jaguar 420G.
Anglia Car Auctions, King's Lynn -
"Chassis number: G1D57446BW. This leviathan Jaguar 420G, finished in Ascot Fawn with Cinnamon leather interior and Tudor Webasto full-length sunroof, was registered in January 1970. In 2006, it was sold to a new owner in Spain, where the car remained until around five years ago. The car's condition remains very good, inside and out, with the vendor telling us that it 'drives extremely well, has no known faults, and has four almost new tyres'. The boot contains its complete Jaguar toolkit. Being an historic vehicle, the car is now exempt from MoT testing, with its last MoT having been undertaken in October 2018 at 81,140 miles. The present mileage recorded on the odometer is 82,282 miles. The well-organised history folder includes the V5C, print-out of the online MoT history, MoT certificates from 2017 and 2019, the Spanish registration document, sales invoice from sales in 2006 and 2020 (the latter being when it was purchased by the vendor). There's also a list of Jaguar paint codes, as well as as some Classic Car Buyer articles relating to these cars. The original owner's handbook is also present."
Estimate: £11,000 to £13,000. Sold for £11,880 including premium.
