Recognisable by its XR4i style bumpers, the Sierra Sapphire Chasseur was one of the ‘run‑out’ limited edition models of the Sierra range. Thanks to its high levels of equipment, it now regarded as one of the more collectable of the special edition models. This one was registered in June 1991, and has an MoT valid until January 2023. The odometer indicates 85,650 miles although this isn't warranted.

 

"The vendor describes this Ford, with three former registered keepers noted on its V5C, as a 'straight car, used daily' and which he'd be happy to 'drive anywhere'. It is fitted with a factory sunroof, with its spare wheel matching the alloy road wheels. The car was driven to the auction from Ipswich.

 

"The paperwork folder includes the V5C, current MoT certificate plus one from 2013 and the radio code."

 

Sold for £4536 including premium.
