KNM 726G (1)

1968 Commer PB camper.

My parents' old Commer. This replaced their Cortina Mk.2 estate and was our first camper van. It appeared to be a DIY conversion and had an elevating roof made by AER Developments of Qua Fen Common, Soham. As can be seen it had sliding doors and an odd little flip open hatch above the front seats. It took us all over the place in the early 1980s and we had many holidays with her. Two other Commers were scrapped over the years to keep her going. Eventually she was replaced by our VW Devon Eurovette.

Last taxed in March 1986.
