This was a purpose-built Volkswagen dealership for Vindis which also incorporated a Lotus showroom for a short period a few years ago. Most recently it was used solely as a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealer but now sits empty. Vindis replaced this site with a new Volkswagen dealership next to their existing Audi showroom in Huntingdon.
In 2014 there were plans to build 75 homes on this site and outline planning permission was sought. I don't know whether that was successful but the adjacent meadow regularly floods in winter so the application may have failed.
