The present owner discovered the car in Harlow in a vandalised condition and paid £15 for it. The first owner had taken the car off the road in 1969 after he was fined 10s 3d for not having a radio licence (!). The car was restored over a 2 year period and passed its first MoT test in 1996. It was resprayed in its original Ambassador Blue. The side panels were made from American Ash wood (the originals were made from DI-NOC).
