– 4x electric windows, electric sunroof, Zebrano wood trim, alloy road wheels, 4x Michelin tyres and factory-fitted air conditioning
Special, exclusive and magnetic: this W123 280E has a magnificent specification, which is best highlighted by its superb original brown velour interior, which is in stunning condition. It has had just three keepers in total from new.
This example bears all the 280E hallmarks: full chrome bumpers front and rear, exclusive interior trim on the inside of doors and pillars, a beautifully sculpted set of “cat’s ear” headrests front and rear, and correct original alloy road wheels with Michelin tyres. This 280E has the presence which so typifies this generation of Mercedes-Benz, where the doors close with an incomparable fullness of sound.
Supplied with an MoT to 1 April 2016 and described by the vendor as “superb” on the road, this example is beautifully specified and has something of a magnetic quality. Its top-of-the-range six-cylinder engine rounds out a luxury experience described by some as transcending generations – exactly as Mercedes-Benz had intended.
Please note that this vehicle was the subject of a Category C insurance claim in 2011, and was succesfully inspected by VOSA on 10/09/2012, having been MoTd three days previously on 07/09/2012."
Estimate £6000 to £8000. Unsold.
