1974 Austin-Morris 10cwt deluxe pick-up.

"The vendor informs us that this rare pick up has been the subject of an extensive restoration in the late 1990's by a known expert from the Isle of White. Unused for a decade the truck was recommisioned over the last year where many new parts were used, ie brake cylinders, battery, fuel lines, sender, fuel pump, distributor, coil, leads, bushes etc etc.The vehicle was part of a Practical Classics magazine feature in 2001 in which they described the pick up as near concourse and thought it to be the earliest still on the road. The vehicle remains in a remarkable condition for the age. He further states that the engine has had the head off recently for inspection and is in very good condition, a new head gasket was fitted on reassembly. The specs for the engine are as follows:
1380cc 73.5mm Powermax Pistons,Kent 276 camshaft,Stage 2 ported and polished head,lightened flywheel,fully balanced,1.5 ratio roller tip rockers,original Leyland ST oil cooler,electronic ignition, Kenlowe fan,twin SU carbs, LCB exhaust manifold, Pecorino twin exit back box, Ital front discs, calliper and servo.The engine has not covered many miles since being rebuilt.
