Registered in July 2011. Cheffins vintage auction, Sutton -

"Details: 1965 2,800cc Bedford JO ½ ton Pick-Up Reg. No. JB 2212 (transferable) Chassis No. JOC64150 Engine No. LD28005408 A rare vehicle in absolutely stunning condition that has been the subject of a £30,000 nut and bolt restoration and is finished in Ferrari Red with a black and burgundy leather interior. The only non-Bedford fitment is the diesel Nissan engine with floor mounted gear change which many will see as a real boon in modern driving conditions. As you would expect with the high expenditure every aspect of this JO stands up to close scrutiny, stainless steel fittings have been used throughout as well as the entire exhaust system. Quality chrome work abounds inside and out even down to the clutch, brake and throttle pedals whilst the all new whitewall tyres (including the spare) really set the whole plot off. A full set of tools together with the jack are kept in the rear spare tyre compartment which has its own lighting whilst chrome 'Bedford' scripts are attached to the rear mudguards. A modern interior heating system has been fitted into the cab with discreetly hidden controls, if ever a working ½ ton truck could be described as a luxury vehicle JB 2212 is it. Offered for sale to the discerning buyer complete with its transferable registration number, 2 CD's covering the entire restoration process, reams of invoices, current MOT valid until December 2015 and V5C documentation. The vendor states that the JO drives like a dream and can be driven away with total confidence, certainly you'll be the centre of attention wherever you slow down! Estimate £22,000 - £24,000".
