Spring at Laurel Fork
Nestled within the Jocassee Gorge along the Blue Ridge Escarpment is a natural treasure of wildlife and beauty, known as the Laurel Fork Heritage Preserve.
The jewel of Laurel Fork is the majestic Virginia Hawkins Falls, which has also been known as Double Falls, and is a 25-foot cascading wonder and offers several appealing compositions for photographers.
One that I don't recall seeing is the one accompanying this post, which I felt captured the essence of this beautiful spot.
I may post another shot or two from different angles at a later time, but wanted to start the week off by sharing this image with you all.
And when you're out and about exploring the beauty of our natural world, always remembers to leave it better than you found it.
