Carrick Creek Falls
The small but beautiful Carrick Creek Falls located within Table Rock State Park in South Carolina is a popular stop for many hikers visiting the park.
On this spring afternoon I was fortunate enough to have the area around the falls and surrounding swimming pool all to myself.
The creek offers several photo opportunities with various streams and cascades along the way, some more or less easily accessible along the trail itself.
I started at this spot and worked my way up the creek a little ways. The mountain laurel was blooming all over the place, which added a nice accent to the scene.
With hot and humid temperatures outside today, I wouldn't mind going back here and dipping my feet in to cool off.
