Calculations for Energy Lab

As the marble rises and falls, the amount of kinetic and potential energy it contains changes. We've measured the heights (which can get us PE) and the velocities (which can get us KE.) This picture shows how to make the calculations of each. It also defines Mechanical Energy (ME) which is the sum of kinetic and potential energies. Just add them together.
