Rotational Motion Definitions
Rotational motion has the same relationships that linear motion has. We demonstrate this using the picture on the top right. One kid stands in the middle and spins. Other kids have to stand shoulder to shoulder with him and keep up. The outer maroon kid has a huge linear velocity, with the second kid having a small linear velocity, but they all had the same angular velocity. All the concepts of linear motion have a rotational version, and the equations are identical as long as we use radian as the angle measure.
