Leave us alone

Road work parked us right beside this sign. It sat in front of a locked gate, which housed an old beat up trailor house. An old horse was grazing in the small front yard. And they also had an emu pinned up in a smaller cage... Who would possibly be bothering them? I never noticed the home because of the speedy highway through there..
