Day 4 of 5 day road trip - Cortez, CO to Montrose CO... These photos by my grand daughter - KK - navigator and resident photographer for the balance of the trip. Early morning start, stop for a dozen doughnuts and away we go! Passed a mule deer and three black bears as we ascended the plateau at Mesa Verde on the way to the Ancestral Pueblo civilization.
