Sunrise greets a deserted Adelaide Airport terminal, South Australia. Normally busy at this time of day, the COVID-19 Pandemic and subsequent closure of State borders saw a massive reduction of interstate flights and cessation of international flights, although Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific have operated freight-only flights. As of 13 June 2020, Singapore Airlines have recommenced a weekly passenger flight, the first one with just two passengers arriving.
Jetstar are operating two flights daily, to Sydney and Melbourne; Virgin Australia are operating a Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth flight every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Brisbane flight commenced on 12 June.
