Virgin Australia staff at Adelaide Airport, South Australia, wave goodbye to Boeing 737-800 VH-VUA, operating VA226 to Melbourne. Restrictions due to the COVID-19 Pandemic initially saw an 80% reduction in flights for Virgin Australia. After dropping to zero flights over the Easter period, Virgin Australia will now be commencing limited flights around the country with only 200 staff employed Australia-wide. For most of the staff in the photos, this would be their last time wearing a Virgin Australia uniform...but hopefully not forever.
