Water Cannon Salute
Make-A-Wish Australia grants wishes to terminally ill children and creates amazing experiences for them. On 6 February 2018, a four year old boy’s dream of flying to the moon became a reality for him thanks to Qantas.
The ‘rocket’ was QantasLink DHC-8-300 VH-TQE, which is seen here receiving a water cannon salute before flying the boy and his family to the moon. A moonscape was created in a hanger to allow the boy to experience fun and games on the moon.
