Thor's Helmet - NGC2359 - 23 Feb 2025

Thor's Helmet Nebula, NGC 2359, located in the constellation Canis Major.

 

This object was imaged in narrowband for a total integration time of 11 hours and 10 minutes through three narrowband, SII, H-Alpha and OIII filters.

 

Exposed through a C8 SCT at f6.3 with a QHY268M camera cooled to -5°C.
