And he’s baaaaack.....! (Plus plot prediction for WW2/84’)
Wonder Woman 2/84 has gone into production. It’s confirmed Pine will return as Steve Trevor, meaning that he’s survived WW1 in 1918. So how he returns will be a great mystery.
Judging by this picture, he looks a little older and rougher, and he’s rocking those 80’s clothes.
I also have an outline of what will happen:
Diana has been working as a hero for nearly close to 70 years, and travels everywhere to fight against threats, but she chooses to settle in America. She gets new allies, an invisible jet, and narrates to a friend briefly of how she fought even more gods monsters during that period.
Then somewhere we get Cheetah’s quick backstory, and she decides to work with the Russians, and 1984 is going to be the height of the Cold War. They will be aided, hopefully, by some new villains (Circe = magic, Doctor Psycho = mental psychosis).
Then back in America, Diana is walking in the mall, and she meets amnesiac Steve, who doesn’t remember her, but he explains that he is working for ARGUS, which we can get to see more of the group before Suicide Squad. Then there’s the Blackhawks, who help the group.
Wonder Woman and her friends go to Russia, they fight the enemies, and Cheetah can be somewhat of a sympathetic villain. Diana can be tortured by mind control and has to fight magic. Cheetah will escape eventually in the end, and she could make future appearances as a member of the Legion of Doom/Secret Society of Super-Villains.
In the end, either Steve dies, because he doesn’t really belong in this period, or retires for good for his age (like Snake in MGS4). Diana is horrified by war, and promises never to fight again, rather becoming peaceful.
