Killslinger explained, expanded bio + story
Killslinger’s influence and some details: Heavily inspired by Young Justice’s Cadmus clone storyline, which has Roy Harper/Arsenal/Guardian/Superboy that kind of stuff, as well as a little bit of Star Wars, Weapon X/X-23, Spider-Man’s clone saga and a few other inspirations. Also, not gonna disclose on the unnamed agency yet, it’ll be a plot line soon to come.
So to explain how or what his origins are, I’ll start off with Adrian Kane. One of his early missions involved him going to Sweden hunting a target. While he was scouting, he saw one of his ex-girlfriends around the streets. He proceeded to finish his mission before managing to catch up with her at a bar. The woman, Alexis, was secretly a former Marine like Adrian but turned to the secret, shadowy agency after their breakup. Both shared a brief, one night stand (no, he didn’t get her pregnant, I’m sure about that) and the next day while both left, Alexis had secretly stolen a vial of blood from Adrian’s bloodstream, and the sample was eventually delivered to the agency.
The samples were eventually developed over time, Scientists discovered that the genes were beyond perfect that it amazed them, upon further analysing, it contained a rare sequence that was immune to most diseases, toxins, poisons and some medicines, and this led to the pharmaceutical companies wanting to make a cure out of it. However, the agency was unable to because it was encoded to its genetic template, and it was simply too powerful.
The agency, subsequently wanting to make their own agents/super-soldiers instead using a serum to create one, resorted to the clone program instead, as most of their methods wouldn’t work. 14 embryos were subsequently grown within the course of 9 months, and they were always transported over the world for oversight and experimentation, starting at the sub facility in Idaho, then mostly around Montreal, France, Korea, Mongolia and a few others (this explains why despite the template being multilingual, his firsthand, most fluent languages were English, French, and Korean).
At the final process, the clones were aged up to approximately in the early 20’s, similar to Adrian Kane. However upon release, the clones were either unstable, both mentally and physically, appearance deformed, and so on. Most died either in tests or exercises, save for one, nicknamed Kane-14, survived. Kane-14 was the perfect clone, and had most powers and skills of his template, but own downside was the energy powers, he only accessed 1/5 of that power.
Kane-14, was given the first name “Felix” and was subjected to torturous exercises, because the agency believed in “perfection”, wanting the best agent/soldier. Felix had to endure months of pain, abuse and continuous brainwashing (taught to believe he was not his own template). He was sent on one mission to try and find Adrian Kane’s friends, compatriots, companions and kill them, as well as brining the body of Kane himself, either dead or alive. However he failed when two powerful telepaths, Quantumind and Neuroforge, restored his mind after a lengthy battle, while revealing his history and his middle name, “Christopher”.
The teams shared days of history and knowledge to the clone, as the telepaths purged/cleared his mind from mental commands and brainwashing. The clone managed to recognise Adrian, and both had a few conversations, acknowledging each other as brother/cousin. (“Cousin” is more like their relationship.)
Before leaving for his own mission and his own good, Felix forged a indestructible chain of his own that could aid his neon powers, stole a high tech SMG-shotgun from Paradox Force, which he combines occasionally with different combos and fighting styles. He also uses a powerful baseball bat that he took from the streets. As for the armour, he customised it from different prices, and reprogrammed a helmet to conceal his identity, with a grey paint job on one side. Felix shaved his hair in order to differentiate with Adrian and become his own hero.
