20 Things/Facts about me (and was inspired by everyone who did this) (675 Followers Special)
Alright. I guess hours ago, Lego Creationist had a post about his 20 facts, and I thought of doing it.
1. I’m from Hong Kong. I can speak three languages, which includes my native Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. I do wanna learn Japanese.
2. I have a 2 year old godsister. She’s literally one of the cutest kids ever. Always snuggles up to me if I read her a book, or played with her.
3. Since February until now, I really have to thank everyone...I didn’t know I amassed so much followers, which sits at 675 right now.
4. I grew up with Cartoon Network since I was a kid. DCAU shows were my favourite, I loved watching Ben 10, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls (yes, the old one was good), Regular Show and Adventure Time (during the early seasons), Codename Kids Next Door, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Camp Lazlo, Generator Rex, Foster’s House for Imaginary Friends, and so much more.
5. I like other shows from different networks, such as Danny Phantom, Totally Spies, Fairy Oddparents, Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron and a few more, but it’s quite a lot to count. And also, I do love some anime.
6. Sharpverse DC and Paradox Force are my most successful series ever since. I didn’t know they were such popular hits around. Just wow.
7. I love a lot of creations, builds, sets and figs around by you guys. Arts, Marvel, OCs, everything, they serve as huge inspirations for me.
8. I’ve been watching some of you on Flickr back in 2014 before I even started (I don’t mean to come of as creepy). People like Merc4Hire., Random_Panda, Lord Allo, lazyswine, Kaiju Dan, Jonathan Wong Photography, HMD BrickCustoms, Boss Bricks, Scott Blankfield were the sole, earliest inspirations that got me into Flickr.
9. I own a console, which is basically a PS4, and just a computer. I love games like Infamous, Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, Lego series, Deus Ex series, Team Fortress, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and the Assassin’s Creed series. I’m have some skills at FPS, but I won’t admit I am really good at it.
10. My favourite movies include Daybreakers, Bourne series, the Stephen Chow films, Mission Impossible, Priest (my opinion), Star Wars films, Internal Affairs Trilogy, Looper, Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049, Children of Men, What We Do In the Shadows and Inception. I love indie films, some fantasy and animated films as well.
11. In my opinion, DC has a lot of good comics since their publication (although some were bad) and Rebirth was really well. Marvel was good during during the early 00s until AvX and Infinity. Secret Wars was great in 2015.
12. Cantopop/Mandopop has great music. Artists/musical groups like Jay Chou (周杰倫), Jacky Cheung (張學友), Twins, Eason Chan (陳奕迅), Joey Yung (容祖兒), Anita Mui (梅艷芳), Mayday (五月天), ToNick, Sandy Lam (林憶蓮) are really great. There’s always great musicians in Asia, and I’d encourage you to listen to them. Outside of Asia, I like Skillet, Evanescence, Gorillaz, The Weeknd, Daft Punk, Rihanna, Sia, Norah Jones.
13. I’m good at swimming, badminton, and skiing, which I went on my recent, second time.
14. I love listening soundtracks. It is phenomenal.
15. Comic book adaptations such as The Incredible Hulk (underrated), the MCU films, Justice League, Wolverine and the X-Men, Young Justice, animated Batman shows are the primary reasons that led me to writing comic series, which I originally envisioned as scripts to various TV shows. They were going to be a job I looked forward to months ago as a TV writer.
16. I don’t really have much friends to be honest, well, aside from being in Flickr, on the outside world, I have less than 30. I tend to be a loner, an outsider of sorts, but not really an introvert.
17. My most prominent character, Grey Cop/Adrian Kane, is partially based on my personality, some of Rick Deckard, Wolverine, Luke Skywalker, Batman, Iron Man and James T. Kirk.
18. I love art and sketching. I really gotta thank the art community here. It sparked my creative side to draw something.
19. Really wish my hair was more stylish, in fact.
20. I love any kind of food, except carrots, celery, badly cooked food, olives.
