Taylor “Halax” Ryland, the first character in my new sci-fi series!
Name: Taylor “Halax” Adam Ryland
Aliases: Halax, Lost Marine, The Space Ronin
Age: Around 20s’
Bio: Taylor Ryland was born in Earth and moved around planets while growing up. He had a partly rough life surviving society and school, but still managed to get through. During his late teens, he took a few jobs after graduation and became a Space Marine and went on many missions. Despite being a loner/“ronin”, he was nicknamed “Halax” by many of his allies and comrades.
During one his last missions, he was left stranded on a seemingly lifeless planet. Without much resources, he made himself a drifter and developed new forms of fighting styles, while stumbling across many things and even some organic beings. It would depend on his journey if he could find survivors...
Powers and abilities: 1/4 alien genes, partly enhanced genetics at birth, he has super strength, durability, agility, senses, reflexes, dexterity, night vision and etc. He is also invulnerable against diseases,toxins and deadly poisons. Other than that, he is a skilled Space Marine, being good at combat, marksmanship and firearms. Taylor is also good at pain tolerance, torture, survive and adapting in almost anywhere and anything, such as creating custom materials out of a rainforest. Also possesses many skills. Lastly, theorised to be immortal.
Equipment: A custom tattered protective suit, in which one arm has lost clothing, and a piece durable armour. He has a unbreakable machete lined with alien material, a sharp combat knife, a shotgun that almost never runs out of ammo, when broken down, it functions as a pistol and the other end as a pair of binoculars. While on the planet, Taylor found a lost sword in which he uses as a main weapon.
Weaknesses: Despite being a superhuman, he lacks other forms of power. He is susceptible to being alone and hesitates to take innocent lives.
Personality: Warrior at heart, survivor, bold, well rounded, determination, deducing, observant, courageous, sometimes sarcastic.
