Then I corrected the somewhat compressed centre board trunk by detaching the distorted bulkhead from the trunk and garboard using a multitool and after straightening reattaching it while the space in the trunk was corrected by pressing 28 mm spacers inside the trunk again while softening the glue bonds along the centre line with a heat gun.
