Running into the wind
It was a very blustery morning at New Brighton today. Got practically blown along the promenade but coming back into the wind was challenging. By the time we got to the lighthouse the wind had upped its game and had aspirations of being a hurricane. The sand was being whipped everywhere and I was fearful for my eyes and camera.
Then I saw this lad running headlong into the wind. It's only when he stopped and turned back that I realised he had wheels on his shoes and let the wind push him back the way he came!
I must admit to feeling a bit wistfully envious until he hit a bump and ended up flat on his face. Think I will stick to hiking boots, not overly dainty but they do help keep me upright!
