Château de Neuchâtel at sunrise - Switzerland

It's not that common during autumn to have such a clear weather during sunrise at Neuchâtel. I waited a few weeks before being at the right time and right spot to take this shot with the first light on the Castle.

This place is really important for the people of the Canton de Neuchâtel : on the 1st of March 1848, the troops led by Fritz Courvoisier took this place from the government of the king of Prussia and established the first Republic. No blood fall during the capture : the prussians surrendered without a fight.
