The vineyards of Twann.

This panoramic picture shows the village of Twann, Lake Bienne and St. Peter's Island on which Jean-Jacques Rousseau spent two months in 1765, calling it the most beautiful time in his life.

 

The capture was taken on a rather hazy afternoon, that's why you can't see the Swiss Alps on the horizon.
