Kings Beach closed.
Cyclone Oma tracked along the Queensland coast in February 2019 but didn't cross the coast. Not much rain but strong winds and big surf. All beaches on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts were closed. A lot of erosion but already nature is starting to heal the wounds and the beaches are open and lots of people enjoying the surf and sand. As it has been the hottest March on record for South East Queensland it is not surprising people want to cool down at the local beaches.
