In the Summertime.
Somehow, no idea how I stayed dry. I could see the rain falling from it as it came directly at me from Hope Valley. It stopped as it blew over Stanage and started again over Hallam Moors.
I'd put my waterproofs on and retraced my steps to Robin Hood's Cave in case I needed to take shelter. It was pretty windy too so it blew through relatively quickly. The wind died down and I was able to get the tent up in much calmer weather with Mungo Jerry going through my head and a wry smile on my face.
If it had been half an hour earlier/later then sunset itself looked like it was going to be great. In the end there was a little colour but nothing to write home about. Can't complain though.
