Serendipity.

Made my way down to Friars Crag for sunrise this morning and got to the viewpoint to wait. Looked over at Catbells and noticed the moon. Not planned at all and it's not something I ever check for so really fortunate.

 

Frantic few minutes flapping like crazy because though there was hardly any wind the cloud was just about to cover it!

 

Lucky to get a really nice sunrise as well. Weather had been pretty poor apart from about an hour at Ullswater a couple of mornings before and the previous nights sunset.
