One Way.
Nice and quiet in Chester first thing with some decent clouds and reflections. Certainly felt the wind chill.
Since the last time I was here there have been a few additions and a few subtractions. The council have cut back most of the trees which has caused more than a bit of a stir. Selfishly I prefer it this way as it opens up the river views and offers different compositions, not that I've gone for one here!
Okay the additions. And these have caused probably more of a stir on social media than the trees being cut back.
The first thing I noticed was the sparkly new houseboat moored just below the gothic building. I've been looking a lot on Rightmove recently and one of these popped up in Maryport Harbour. £180k and it was near identical. If you look at the riverside garden of the home it belongs to further additions have been made, namely the Italianate terraces with classical statues and wait what? Rhinos!
Not sure what to make of them but each to there own......
