Rydal Reflections.

No mist and drab skies in Keswick so decided to try Tarn Hows and a recce for the River Brathay.

On the way I passed Grasmere which was covered in mist and then Rydal where the mist had lifted slightly but was lingering in the woods surrounding it.

I made my way round to the opposite side of Rydal conscious that the mist was being burnt off rapidly. The sun was off to the right from here and was already quite high in an azure sky so opted to go for a tighter shot, albeit a cliched one.

Flat calm water, mist in the woods and broccoli trees with the wonderful Autumn colours of russet and gold coming through meant I could fulfil the 'No visit to the Lakes is complete without a reflection shot,' edict.
