Goodbye Autumn - River Brathay, Lake District, UK.

It's been a while since I'v got an image I have fully been satisfied with, and this one was a bit of a surprise! After a sunrise up Loughrigg which didn't turn out great, I rushed back down and headed to the River Brathay to get the last moments of the golden hour.

When I arrived I looked at the main trees that people shoot (to the right of this shot) but then noticed a Great Oak Tree with some stunning light illuminating its last Autumnal colours, it just completely stood out to me. As I setup my tripod and started to think 'composition', a nice mist started to appear in the river!

I know it's not officially the end of Autumn, but for me I really wouldn't mind if this was the only 'banger' shot I got from this year, so... Goodbye Autumn.
