Wagon Wheel MAC
An executive MAC, still wearing the original BNSF logo thunders by the Becker Wye switch headed east for Chicago.
For all the years (10 now) I've ventured trackside, it wasn't until this moment I captured a Circle Logo MAC leading a train.
With most MACs in storage and lacking PTC, I didn't think the chance would ever come. But indeed there are still surprises to be had trackside.
Though the preferred sun angle was lost, it was worth taking a shot.
BNSF built the wye in Becker back in 2020, it's main purpose is access to Northern Metals to load unit scrap trains and send them east. Yet to see a Becker coal load or empty use it, but you never know.
This newer signal provides a new "photo prop" to use when shooting a train. First time using it, I like the results.
