Summer SD40s

Summer is slowly coming to a close, earlier sunsets and cooler nights mark a shift to a new season.

 

But summer isn't over yet. A summer sky makes a nice backdrop for Northtown's two mainline SD40s returning home from Williston, North Dakota.

 

Weather was much more pleasant than the outbound trip a few days prior, though a few small clouds made things interesting for a few moments.

 

But as luck would have it, the sun had full rights as the SD40 pair rumbles through Big Lake, this time the H1 1833 in the lead.
