Foreign Power Prize

A trio of eastern motors leads U-TNDNSD0-48 eastbound after loading up on North Dakota oil.

 

The leader is an SD70M, the trailer is an SD90/43MAC rebuilt into an SD70ACu. Some CSX finishes off this prize.

 

After sitting for about 5 hours in Big Lake hanging with Todd and shooting trains, we decided to chance it and go west, maybe chasing this train once we found out what it was.

 

We started west and soon the sun broke through. We wouldn't have made to Clear Lake (66) were this train was waiting, so this was the furthest we could go.

 

We watched the clouds stressfully until the train came around the bend and we pointed and fired.

 

This was totally worth the drive.
