Oregano is a herb with stems and leaves, tender, grassy, perennial, vertically growing, branched on the upper part.

Oregano is also called wild marjoram, basil or oregano forest.

The plant has a height of 50-80 cm, reddish stem, with leaves in opposition, and pink-violet flowers.
