Lesser Yellowlegs

Lesser Yellowlegs / tringa flavipes. Frampton, Lincolnshire. 23/03/24. * Day 187

 

A lot of birds suddenly taking to the wing had grabbed the Lesser Yellowleg's attention for a second or two. However, it held its nerve and remained in the shallow pool. I loved the alert, upright posture shown here.
