Common Whitethroat / sylvia communis. Cossall, Nottinghamshire. 24/04/21.

 

'I SEE YOUR TRUE COLOURS SHINING THROUGH.'

 

This female showed at her best when she perched on top of a Hawthorn hedge. In better light, she showed her true colours and I could better appreciate the amount of brown feathers on her crown, nape and ear coverts.
