Green-winged Orchid
Green-winged Orchid / anacamptis moire. Merry's Meadows, Rutland. 21/05/18.
The nearest colour variant I could find to a white Green-winged Orchid. It had the very faintest blush of pale pink to some parts of its petals as can be seen if viewed large. Despite being just past its prime, it was beautiful nonetheless. Furthermore, whilst taking a break from photographing it, I became aware of my first ever Adder's Tongue Fern growing no more than a handspan away! Seems like it was meant to be.
