Wasset workshop is an annual workshop organized by Arab Origami Center during the Arab Origami Festival. it's open to all artists (professional or amateurs) in all sorts of arts (photography, collage, calligraphy, painting, and installations)
The workshop aims to use origami as a "Mediator" with other arts (classic, contemporary) to produce a piece of art defining a new artistic dimension to enrich the art scene and introducing new horizons to the visual arts.
The artists will use a regular boat "2m wide * 0.75m height" as an artistic mediator while every artist will try to use his own technique to create a whole new product.
the number of the artists participating is 15, 10 of them will be contacted directly from the Center and 5 will be chosen throughout the workshop.
the workshop takes place from 15th - 17th of Oct at atelier Alexandria
