What, no valves! Note the hole where the valve stem should be protruding. Getting air into these tires may yet prove to be rather interesting. No, these are not "no-flat" tires.
I took this photo in case I need to order new tubes at some point. It turns out the tubes (complete with valves) have rotationally slipped inside the wheels (yes, both wheels) making reinflation impossible.
With a set of tire irons in hand, it is now time to dismount the tires from the wheels and see if the tubes are okay. Fortunately they were, and so maybe these wheels will provide another decade of service--doubtful, as rubber has a service life. I may yet fill these with foam if this occurs again this summer.
