Shelsley Walsh - Autumn Speed Finale
Autumn Speed Finale
The last weekend of 2015 for competitive hill climbers at Shelsley Walsh is always popular and this year has seen the highest number of entries that we can recall for such an event. Run under a National B Licence there is a big variety of cars and engines
The Autumn Speed Finale is made up of two separate events, one on each day Saturday and Sunday.
Invitations have been extended to the TR/TR Register Sprint and Hill Climb Championship, the Paul Matty Sports Cars Lotus Championship, the Ferrari Owners Club Hill Climb Championship and the TVRCC Speed Championship as well as our usual championships such as Classic Marques Speed Challenge and Service Hydraulics Speed Championship.
In addition to the cars we have 30 motorbikes going up the hill on Saturday divided into 6 categories including the Sidecar Class. Everything from the 250cc Yamaha through to 1200cc KTM RC8R
We will be running over 300 competitors during the two days. The big engined race cars class will include Tony Luxton and Bill Hutchins sharing the Hart engine Pilbeam MP58H, Howard Savage jones in his Lola Colgan B5/30 and Graham Wynn in his Force.
