Antrim Station, 15th of March 2015

After being out of mainline service undergoing a light overhaul for a good while, 111 has shown its face once again. This morning, she was allocated to top up ballast in the Belfast area, leaving Central at around 09:25am as part of maintenance work. The train arrived here at around 10:30am in order to run round and refill the hoppers with fresh stone before setting out once again.

Here she is, in all her glory, sat in platform two at Antrim with the six hoppers coupled behind, awaiting to run round them.

One of the notable new features on 111 are the LED marker lights, fitted at both ends.
