Approach Semaphore

A semaphore signal permanently set to an approach indication stands next to the former Detroit, Toledo & Ironton tracks in Springfield, Ohio, near the junction of Lagonda. This was where the DT&I crossed a New York Central branch that ran to Delaware, Ohio via Mechanicsburg. The tracks is now operated by the Indiana & Ohio Railway. (Scanned from color negative film)
